It turns out . . .

I have a form of depression called Dysthymia.

Sorrow and Misery

Through the sorrow I must move on,
I must accept that the good is gone,
But it seems no matter how hard I try,
I just want to fall down and let out a cry,
This world expects so much of me,
But I expect nothing but misery.

The Reasons I Suffer

I feel cold and dead inside,
An there is not a place I can hide.

I can’t escape this feeling no matter how hard I try,
I sometimes wish that I could just lie down and die.

I’m haunted by her ghost and all the pain that rains down,
I just wish that I could just take the pain and let it drown.

Sadly I am unable to do this so I must sit and suffer,
And hope that one day I will find my lover.

The Reasons I Know You

We talk all the time and I can tell,
When your okay and when your not well.
You tell me your secrets and I tell you mine,
That is trust that was built over time.
I've met your family and I know that they're really nice,
And have you mine heck you've even met them twice.
When you say something I understand what you mean,
When we talk you never make a scene.
Your facial expressions I can read like a book,
I can tell how you are with just a single look.

Observations

Recently I've noticed that people seem to be feeling a little more lonely nowadays. And that confuses me. I mean you should be happy that you have friends. And if that isn't enough, Valentines day is coming soon. Now Imagine how happy those lonely people will be when they get valentines. Everyone except me, because nobody is going to get me valentines. And if somebody does, then I will be in shock.

What will happen?

What will happen if you don't do things right,
what will happen if you give up in a fight,
what will happen if you drop everything and run,
what will happen if you didn't have the sun.

Would you freak out,
would you wander about,
would you use the time wisely,
or is that highly unlikely.

You have to decide what you will do,
if something bad happened to you,
So I'll ask the question,
What will happen?

What will you do?

What will you do,
if life started to slow,
how would you react,
would you even know?
What if people,
just began to die,
they were dying,
left and right?

New Year

It's a new year,
and a new day,
there's nothing to fear,
because it's going your way.
